Reconstructive Formula high in dietary fibre content
Dietary fibre consists of plant scaffolding and other supporting components. The human body cannot fully digest this fibrous material, so it moves through the intestinal track as undigested bulk and is excreted again, undigested, along with the stool. However, dietary fibre – both insoluble and water soluble – are nevertheless of significance for the metabolism.
Some decades ago, dietary fibre was still regarded as an unnecessary component (roughage) in food. However, although dietary fibre makes no direct contribution to the production of energy and does not provide building material, its actual value was realised years ago. It plays an important role in maintaining the function of our gastrointestinal track.
Dietary fibre is an important component of a balanced diet as it influences the digestive process and is important for the stool volume and the evacuation of the bowels.
How to take it:
Stir one measuring spoonful (about 10 g) in about 200 ml of water or fruit juice. Drink it at least 30 minutes before a meal. In addition, drink at least two litres of liquid per day. This is important for improving the intestinal transit.
Vitacor Plus™ and other Reconstructive or Special Formulas should be taken at intervals of about an hour from MacroBalance™, because its ingredient chitosan has an ability to bind fats and liposoluble (fat-soluble) vitamins, which can then be excreted unused.
